Out of nowhere: Joe Biden starts screaming at a press conference

The president spoke in Maryland, including some moments that quickly went viral on social media.

Joe Biden had another curious moment while giving a press conference. The president visited the state of Maryland on Thursday to give a speech on the economy, in which he explained the differences between his policies and those of Donald Trump, currently the Republican best positioned to face the Democrat in 2024. However, the thing that resonated most about the speech was not its content, but a rather explosive moment from the president.

The last time the president visited The Old Line State was in February. On this occasion, the reason was to promote his economic agenda. He was accompanied by Gov. Wesley Moore and Sen. Ben Cardin, who will not seek another term in the Senate. However, as previously reported by Voz Media, voters are not very happy with his performance.

According to a Wall Street Journal poll of 1,500 registered voters, the perception of Biden's economy is not positive. Per the poll, 59% disapprove of the president's economic performance, compared to 37% who view it favorably. In addition, 63% rejected Biden's handling of inflation, while only 34% approved.

President Biden screams

While its content was lackluster, the speech was memorable for two specific moments. The first came when Biden was calmly explaining the difference in prescription drug prices in other countries, when he suddenly began to scream unexpectedly, claiming that more was paid for the "same exact drug, made by the same exact company!"

Of course, users on social media did not take long to share the moment on various platforms.

'I'm going to get in real trouble'

Another viral moment of the speech took place at the end, when Biden told reporters that he would love to answer all their questions, but that he could not do so for some reason. "I wish I had the chance to take all your questions, but I'm going to get in real trouble if I do that," Biden said before leaving the stage.

It is not the first time that the president has made comments like this, referring to the fact that a person or group of people could punish him if he answers all the questions that reporters have for him.
