Video: Russian students undergo military training in Crimean schools
The Russian government released a video showing several children putting together and cleaning rifles while others received hand-to-hand combat training.
The Russian government released a video through public channels showing how students learn how to assemble and clean assault rifles and conduct hand-to-hand combat in Crimean schools. The Crimean Peninsula is part of the Ukrainian territory despite the fact that Russia invaded it in 2014.
In the video, first released by Russian state news agency RIA Novosti, a girl and two boys are seen putting together and cleaning an AK-47 rifle on their desks in a classroom. They are competing to see who can do it the fastest. Another child can be heard in the background asking who won. Next, several minors can be seen in a different room laying their weapons on the floor, standing up and performing hand-to-hand combat moves.
There are differing opinions regarding the military training of minors in the Crimea. "While America is focused on indoctrinating our children with rainbows and pronouns, our adversaries are training their children to be warriors. American global dominance is dwindling and the future is not pretty," said Collin Rugg, co-owner of Trending Politics media.
