Denver: A dozen injured after fire breaks out during landing of American Airlines plane
Once again, the aircraft involved is a Boeing 737. The FAA is investigating the incident while those affected are recovering from minor injuries.

Airplane on fire at the Denver Airport
An American Airlines plane caught fire after landing Thursday at Denver International Airport in Colorado, which reported 12 passengers hospitalized for minor injuries.
American Airlines Flight 1006 between Colorado and Dallas was diverted to Denver Airport after its crew reported "engine vibrations," the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said, AFP reports.
The FAA said the Boeing 737-800 aircraft, "after landing and while taxiing to the gate an engine caught fire and passengers evacuated the aircraft using the slides," the FAA explained.
The airline told local press that there were 172 passengers and six crew members on board the plane. According to airport authorities, all were safely evacuated, but 12 were hospitalized for minor injuries.
Images shared on social media showed a huge plume of smoke and passengers standing on the wing of the plane waiting for emergency services to arrive.
The FAA said it will investigate this latest incident, which adds to the multitude of plane crashes in the country in recent months.
