Authorities reported that the search continues for Travis Caleb Decker, suspected of murdering his three young daughters in Washington, and have released recent images of the suspect.

The Marshals Service noted that Decker is a suspect in the abduction and murder of his three young daughters last weekend. The agency is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information that leads directly to Decker's arrest. It is unknown if the suspect is armed, but he should be considered dangerous.

In addition, authorities indicated that the man could be anywhere in the country.

The case of the girls

On May 30, the Wenatchee Police Department took a report of three girls, ages 9, 8 and 5, who had not been released back to their mother after an arranged visit with their father, Decker, a 32-year-old man who resides in the Wenatchee area and has military experience and advanced tactical training.

Authorities began the investigation immediately. After issuing an Endangered Missing Person Alert, a joint search operation was deployed throughout Chelan County.

In that regard, the Marshals Service detailed that on June 2, Decker's vehicle was located in Leavenworth. A search in the vicinity led to the discovery of the lifeless bodies of the three girls. Decker was not located.

Arrest warrants were initially issued for custodial interference, then upgraded to first-degree murder (3 counts) and first-degree kidnapping (3 counts) after the recovery of the victims.

Case details

Meanwhile, it was also learned that a preliminary examination concluded that the girls likely died from asphyxiation, according to an affidavit accompanying the arrest warrant for their father, Travis Decker.

"Three girls believed to have been killed by their father were found zip-tied and with plastic bags over their heads in a remote part of Washington state, according to court documents obtained," reported NBC which had access to the documents.
