CBS pro-democrat manipulation: Mike Johnson shows that his interview was censored
The speaker's team claims that five minutes worth of answers were cut while the controversy over the edited broadcast of the interview with the Democratic candidate hiding her mistakes on '60 Minutes' still rages.
CBS’s credibility, especially its impartiality, has been mortally wounded in less than fifteen days. After broadcasting an edited version of Kamala Harris’ 60 Minutes interview which magically removed several of her comments that could have made her come off negatively, the network has now censored Mike Johnson. The speaker of the House of Representatives shared on his X account the interview broadcast by this network along with the full recording of the conversation, which was five minutes longer than what aired. The network decided to omit key moments.
Johnson spoke out on Elon Musk's social network, claiming that what happened is a consequence of CBS's anti-Republican bias and its desire to help the Harris campaign: "CBS has come under fire for selectively editing its interviews to PROMOTE Democrats and UNDERMINE Republicans. Yesterday, they chose to cut FIVE important minutes from my nearly 15-minute interview."
CBS cut out Johnson's criticism of the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of 'Helene' aid
The speaker then shared the version broadcast by the channel along with the full recording of his answers, which was filmed by his staff. Specifically, the Republican lawmaker pointed out that the part of his interview discussing what he saw on his trip to North Carolina after Hurricane Helene was cut out:
His comments on guaranteeing the election’s integrity were cut out
The network also cut out the part when he offered words of support to Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin about his push to prevent non-citizens from voting in his state:
Finally, CBS also didn’t want the public to hear Johnson's arguments in favor of the SAVE Act, which would ensure the integrity of the elections by making voter ID mandatory so that only eligible individuals can go to the polls.
"Release the full Kamala tapes, CBS News"
Johnson would later return to his crusade against the network by demanding in a short post that Kamala Harris’ full interview from last Sunday be released.
