On VOZ News, journalist Karina Yapor interviewed meteorologist Albert Martínez, with whom she talked about the tragic floods that have taken place in the state of Texas, which have left more than 100 dead and almost 200 missing, in what has undoubtedly represented one of the worst events the state has experienced in recent years.

"The situation is typical for this time of year. We have humidity coming up from the gulf, we have drier air in West Texas, and when those two air masses collide, clouds are generated that are capable of giving us rain. What happened, well, that rain since Tuesday was  already occurring between Highway 10 and Highway 35. Right in that mountainous area it started raining on Tuesday, and as the week progressed those rains increased."
