At least one dead and one injured in shooting at Antioch High School in Nashville
Police announced that the shooter, a student at the school, committed suicide at the scene.

Authorities reported that at least one student was killed and another person was injured during a shooting at Antioch High School in Nashville.
Police spokesman Don Aaron explained at a news conference that the shooter, another student, committed suicide.
"Antioch High School is on a lockdown due to shots being fired inside the school building. Metro Police are on the scene. The person responsible for shooting is no longer a threat. We will be gathering students in the auditorium and will provide information on reunification as soon as possible," Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

Likewise, the authorities explained that the investigation into the incident is active. In addition, they explained the security protocol for parents to search for their children: "Buses will take students from Antioch High School to Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital, 3754 Murfreesboro Pike, as they are released from the scene by Metro Police."
According to the school's official website, Antioch High School is home to approximately 2,000 students.
