Professor who killed pro-Israel protester Paul Kessler arrested for manslaughter
The Ventura County Sheriff's Office arrested pro-Palestinian activist Loay Alnaji. To be released on parole, he must pay a bond of $1,000,000.
Loay Alnaji, the pro-Palestinian computer science professor involved in the death of pro-Israel protester Paul Kessler, was arrested Thursday. As reported by the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, they charged Alnaji with involuntary manslaughter and assault and imposed a bond of $1,000,000:
The professor now faces "special allegations that Alnaji personally inflicted great bodily injury," according to authorities who, after an investigation, revealed that Paul Kessler died after hitting his head on cement during a fall. This, they explained, caused a brain hemorrhage that ended his life just hours later in the hospital.
News of Alnaji's arrest soon reached the ears of the Jewish community. The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, was quick to react to the news of the arrest and, through a statement reported by the New York Times, celebrated the arrest of the computer science professor:

Alnaji's arrest is no surprise. The professor's name was one of the first to come out after the death of Paul Kessler. Two days after the murder of the pro-Israel protester, the Ventura County Sheriff's Office had already targeted the suspect.
