A 41-year-old woman was arrested Monday in Chicago and will remain in federal custody for sending death threats via email to former President Donald Trump and his teenage son, Barron Trump.

According to reports, the case was filed in early August in U.S. District Court in South Florida. However, it had not been revealed until this week.

Tracy Marie Fiorenza is the woman accused of sending these emails expressing her intention to kill or injure the former president and his son.

The first email was allegedly sent on May 21 to a school principal in Palm Beach County, Florida, saying, "I will shoot Donald Trump SR AND Barron Trump straight in the face at any opportunity that I get."

A few days later, she sent the same person a similar message stating that she was going to "slam a bullet in Bar[r]on Trump's head with his father IN SELF DEFENSE!" That's when the Secret Service contacted Fiorenza, and she confirmed that she intentionally wrote and sent those emails from her residence in Plainfield.

"Based upon the foregoing, your affiant submits that there is probable cause to believe that FIORENZA did knowingly and willfully make threats via commercial email to take the life of or to inflict bodily harm upon the persons of the former President of the United States and a member of the immediate family of a former President," the complaint states.

Who is Tracy Marie Fiorenza?

The 41-year-old is a former Chicago Public Schools (CPS) employee who lives in Plainfield, Illinois. Fiorenza allegedly worked there from September 22, 2019, to August 30, 2020.

While there is not much personal information about the woman, a social media user with the same name as the woman and living in the Chicago area has made several anti-Trump posts, including memes where Donald Trump is seen handcuffed and hanging from a tree. The account also made posts about the Illuminati.

Faces up to 5 years in prison

According to court documents, if Fiorenza is found guilty, she could be sentenced to a maximum of five years in prison.
