Bill and Hillary Clinton's statements in Epstein case come out: he dismissed accusations against Trump and she left the courtroom furious

Clinton, who had requested a public hearing, was visibly upset that a photo of her during the deposition was posted by conservative influencer Benny Johnson. The image was taken by Rep. Lauren Boebert.

The House Oversight Committee released the hearings of former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in the Epstein case, revealing two important moments that marked both statements.

Former President Clinton, who took some trips on the financier's infamous plane, the 'Lolita Express,' in addition to denying any close nexus or any knowledge of Epstein's crimes, surprised the panel by dismissing allegations against President Donald Trump, a longtime political antagonist.

"There was NO follow-up question. The president NEVER...NEVER said anything to me to make me think he was involved in anything to Epstein. He just didn't," Clinton said of Trump, criticizing some selective questioning by Democratic lawmakers. "It's the truth. As I said earlier, the only conversation I had with President Trump about this was the early-2000s. No information that he did anything wrong."

On his ties to Epstein, Bill Clinton claimed that Epstein "never" asked him for "anything inappropriate" and that he had no knowledge of his crimes. He also claimed that he never "did anything wrong."

According to the Epstein Files, the former Democratic president flew on Epstein's private jet dozens of times in the early 2000s. The leader of the Lower House Oversight Committee, Republican Rep. James Comer, claimed that Hillary Clinton herself had confirmed that Epstein visited the White House 17 times—as suggested in the presidential mansion's visitor logs—during her husband's presidency.

The remarks, which can be viewed in full at the links shared by the Oversight Committee, also had a controversial moment when Hillary Clinton had an outburst on the floor during a question from Rep. Nancy Mace.

Clinton, who had requested a public hearing, was visibly upset that a photo of her during the deposition was posted by conservative influencer Benny Johnson. The image was taken by Rep. Lauren Boebert.

"I'm done with this. If you guys are doing that, I am done," Clinton said in a raised tone of voice after being informed that her photo was leaked to the public. You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home. This is just typical behavior."

In the video, an off-camera person is seen announcing that the statement would go off the record. Almost immediately, lawmaker Boebert is heard in the background confirming that she took the photo before the session began.

"Oh for heaven's sake," Clinton interrupted in exasperation, clapping her fist loudly on the table. "It doesn't matter. We all are abiding by the same rules."

Boebert, at that point, fixed that he would delete the photo.

"Yeah, well," Clinton continued aggressively. "I'm done." After that, he got up from the table.
