Trump to undergo routine medical exam this Friday
While this Friday's visit to the medical center will be nothing more than a routine checkup, this is the second time so far this year that Trump will undergo an exam at Walter Reed.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement Wednesday that President Donald Trump will undergo a medical exam this Friday during a visit to Walter Reed Military Medical Center, during which he will offer remarks to U.S. troops at the site. Leavitt also indicated that the Republican leader would return directly to the White House after this visit.
"On Friday morning, President Trump will visit Walter Reed Medical Center for a planned meeting and remarks with the troops. While there, President Trump will stop by for his routine yearly check up. He will then return to the White House. President Trump is considering going to the Middle East shortly thereafter," Leavitt detailed in the statement.
Second visit in a year
In July, Leavitt also reported that several medical tests had determined that Trump was suffering from chronic venous insufficiency, which is a condition that occurs when veins have difficulty pumping blood back to the heart.
