A group of 11 Republican congressmen came together to congratulate Javier Milei on his electoral victory and imminent inauguration as president of Argentina. In a brief, lawmakers welcomed his rhetoric, encouraging him to "promote shared economic prosperity" and "counter the CCP or any other adversary that seeks to erode our values in the Western Hemisphere."
The president-elect of Argentina made a whirlwind trip to the United States where he visited the grave of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, had lunch with Bill Clinton and even met with Jack Sullivan, Joe Biden's National Security Advisor.
Hours after he returned to Buenos Aires to finish defining his new cabinet as of December 10, eleven Republican congressmen published a letter expressing their support and sending best wishes for his management.
Rep. Roy was proud to lead his House Republican colleagues in congratulating President-elect Milei on his decisive victory in Argentina.
