Flood in Los Angeles
The Los Angeles River rises above normal levels as it washes stormwater into the Pacific Ocean. A powerful atmospheric river ravaged California last Sunday with torrential rains, landslides, flooding and several feet of snow in the mountains. The worst of Monday's storms were centered in the Los Angeles area, where 1.4 million people were under flash flood warnings, including the Hollywood Hills and Beverly Hills.
