In less than a month, the two-time NBA ring winner has received two accolades worthy of an impeccable career. The Los Angeles Lakers, the franchise where he played for six and a half seasons, paid an impressive tribute to one of the best players to ever wear their jersey. Now, the NBA is paying tribute to his commitment and work on the court and is inducting him into the Hall of Fame.

Gasol won't be the only Hall of Fame inductee this year. Other former NBA stars - who shared a generation with the Spaniard - such as Germany's Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavericks) and Tony Parker (San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Hornets) will also receive recognition, as will NBA coach Gregg Popovich and WNBA coach Becky Hammon.
