FBI agents
The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) reported that they recovered the weapon that was allegedly used to assassinate activist Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA.
However, authorities explained that investigators have not yet found the person who killed the conservative leader, but they have images of the suspect.
"We have recovered what we believe is the weapon used in yesterday's shooting: a high-powered bolt action rifle. That rifle was recovered in a wooded area where the shooter had fled. The FBI Laboratory will be analyzing the weapon. Investigators have also collected footwear impression, a palm print, and forearm imprints for analysis," explained Robert Bohls, special agent in charge of the FBI's Salt Lake City Field Office.
"I understand there are a lot of questions about motive. I assure you: all leads and tips are being fully investigated. As of this morning, we have received more than 130 tips. The FBI has brought every resource to bear, and we will continue to do so throughout the course of this investigation," he added.

"The great and legendary Charlie Kirk is dead. No one understood or had the heart of youth in America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now he is no longer with us. Melania and my condolences go out to his beautiful wife Erika and family. Charlie, we love you," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
