Renowned fashion brand Jean Paul Gaultier hired a transgender influencer to sell a women's perfume line. Lola Rodriguez, a Spanish national, is the face of the advertising campaign for the new fragrance, Gaultier Divine.

A "Majestic and magnetic floral obsession," says the ad campaign, which was released on Instagram and shared by Rodriguez on her official networks.

The campaign highlights that Gaultier Divine is a perfume created to celebrate the power and uniqueness of women, revealing their "goddess facet."

Prior to the campaign's release, several media outlets indicated that there was information that the fashion brand had recruited transgender TikToker celebrity Dylan Mulvaney as an ambassador, something the company has not confirmed. However, Mulvaney has posted photos on his social media about the perfume.

It's not the first company to join the trans trend

With the decision, Jean Paul Gaultier joins the campaign to hire trans people for advertising campaigns. One of the best known is the one made by Bud Light with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

The controversial business relationship with the influencer affected the company. In a short time the company's value dropped more than $6 billion.
