Actor Jonathan Majors has been convicted for hitting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, breaking her finger and bruising her arm and ear. After two weeks of trials, a Manhattan state court found the star guilty, charging him with four minor charges: two for assault and two for harassment.

Before the court ruling was issued, Majors' defense alleged that Jabbari falsely accused his client after he broke off their romantic relationship. In addition, he declared that for the actor, this process is "a nightmare."

After receiving the complaint, Majors sued his ex-girlfriend, although the Manhattan District Attorney's Office dismissed it "as lacking procedural merit." The actor was arrested on March 26.

Marvel fires actor

Following the court decision, Marvel Studios made the decision to remove the actor from its upcoming projects.

This move represents a strong setback for both the actor and Disney's plans related to "The Avengers" since Majors had a million-dollar contract with Marvel to portray one of the great villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe film saga, Kang the Conqueror, a character he played in the series "Loki" and in the film "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania." He has also appeared in other blockbusters, such as "Creed III."
