Darren Kent was born in Essex on March 30, 1987. His acting career officially began in 2008 when he played Jimmy Esseker in the horror film "Mirror." Four years later, Kent took advantage of his illnesses to participate in the feature film "Sunny Boy," a film in which he gives life to Danny, a young man who has a strange skin disease that does not allow him to be in the sunlight and a project that, according to himself, helped him a lot both in his career and in his personal life.

However, it was not his role in "Sunny Boy" that made him achieve fame but it was his participation in the HBO series, "Game of Thrones," which achieved it. Kent gave life in 2014 to Goatherd, a secondary character in the tenth episode of the fourth season. There he played a father who is forced to tell Daenerys Targaryen how the fire of her dragons killed his daughter. This forced the Mother of Dragons to chain her pets.
