Dr. Anthony Fauci is making the most of his retirement. Once the highest paid federal employee, he now receives up to $100,000 for giving lectures despite being in the spotlight for the controversies surrounding his time as the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Fauci continues to profit off of his COVID stardom. The Leading Motivational Speaker's Agency website features Fauci as one of its top speakers in the "motivational" and "healthcare" fields. The cost of hiring the former immunologist for speaking engagements ranges from $50,000 to $100,000.

The website justifies the high hiring price by defining Anthony Fauci as someone whose "work on domestic as well as global health issues has saved millions of lives."

He commits his life to saving others through research and development of vaccines and emergency plans to combat dangerous diseases. The 2020 COVID-19 pandemic thrust Anthony into the limelight as a voice of education and reason during a very alarming time in American history.

Social media made sure to take note of this information. Some were astonished at the amount, while others maintained doubts about Fauci's controversial management of the pandemic.
