British actor Ewen MacIntosh died this Sunday at the age of 50. The actor, known for playing Keith Bishop in the series "The Office," died this Monday after experiencing health problems for the last two years. His management company, Just Right Management, announced the sad news on its X account:
With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved comedy genius Ewen MacIntosh. His family thank all who supported him, especially Willow Green Care Home. There will be a private cremation for family & close friends soon & a celebratory memorial later in the year

The company told Variety magazine that the actor had been struggling with his health for two years. They claim that the causes of death are still unknown:
It is with a heavy heart I can confirm the very sad news of our client Ewen’s passing. Ewen was a wonderful actor and an even better human being. He made people laugh and possessed such a kind heart. He touched the lives of all who came into contact with him. Ewen suffered from ill health these past two years and passed peacefully on the 19th February from undisclosed causes. His family are heartened by and deeply appreciate all the outpouring of love for Ewen but would appreciate the privacy for them to grieve at this very difficult time..
The actor, who was born in Wales in 1973, appeared in several plays and projects such as the sketch series "Little Britain" and the reality television series "Celebrity Come Dine with Me." Additionally, he performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2007. However, his most recognized role was that of Keith Bishop in "The Office." The character, which he played between 2001 and 2003, was created by Ricky Gervais, who paid tribute to Ewen MacIntosh on his X account:
