Voters believe Trump would do a "better job" than Biden in the Gaza War

57% of Americans disapprove of how the president is handling the conflict. Half of citizens "trust" the former president more.

A new New York Times /Siena poll revealed that 57% of Americans disapprove of the way President Joe Biden is handling the conflict stemming from Hamas terrorists in their attack on Israel.

21% of those surveyed said they "disapprove to some extent" of Biden's actions regarding the Gaza War. An even higher percentage (36%) "strongly disapproves." On the other hand, 49% of citizens said they trust that former President Donald Trump would do "a better job" mediating the conflict than the current president (38%).

Voters divided over how to deal with conflict

Voters' responses showed how they were divided regarding their ages. Almost three-quarters of younger people (19-29 years old) disapprove of Biden's policy towards Israel.

The Times/Siena poll surveyed about 1,000 voters.
