Garland Police are investigating a spectacular explosion at a Sherwin Williams paint plant in Garland, Texas. Authorities said one person was injured in the fire that broke out and several roads around the site are closed.
Police explained that the injured person is a worker at the plant, who was treated at the site. A department spokesman said there are no air quality warnings, but asked residents to report if they smell anything unusual, as reported by NBC.

The fire department was able to bring the fire under control but remain on site monitoring the situation. "The Garland Fire Department is currently working a structure fire in the area of 701 South Shiloh Road. As a result multiple roadways in and around the location are CLOSED. Please find alternate routes and expect heavy delays," the Garland Police Department tweeted.
