Unsportsmanlike conduct in the NBA: A fight between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Miami Heat ends with four players ejected

The brawl started after Kevin Love fouled Zion Williamson to prevent him from scoring.

Tensions ran high at the Smoothie King Center at the game between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Miami Heat. As soon as the last quarter began, Kevin Love, a player from the Miami Heat, fouled one of his rivals, Zion Williamson, in an unsportsmanlike manner to prevent him from scoring.

The referee called a foul and Naji Marshall, from the Pelicans, ran over and shoved Love. Immediately afterward, a brawl ensued, and players from both teams joined in. Several punches were thrown, which caused the game to stop for several minutes.

The referees decided to eject four players involved in the fight: Jimmy Butler and Thomas Bryant (Heat) along with Jose Alvarado and Naji Marshall (Pelicans).

The game ended with a 106-95 victory for the Heat.
