Marjorie Taylor Greene files articles of impeachment against Biden

The Republican accuses the president of having violated his constitutional duty and of being a threat to the nation because of his immigration policy.

Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden for his handling of immigration.

“Biden has blatantly violated his constitutional duty, and he is a direct threat to our National Security,” Greene alleged when announcing the introduction of the charges. “Therefore, he is unfit to serve as the president of the United States and must be impeached.”

What is she accusing Biden of?

The Republican representative asserts that the president compromised the country's security "by refusing to enforce immigration laws and secure our border.

She further asserted that Biden’s policies “allowed approximately six million illegals from over 170 countries to invade our country.” It also accuses him of permitting the entry of massive amounts of fentanyl into the United States, a major public health concern.

She also blamed the Democrat for losing track of nearly 85,000 unaccompanied alien minors who had entered the United States illegally. And even accused him of having “forced tens of thousands of illegal children into slave labor.

Another of the points of the Administration’s immigration policy that she put in the spotlight was the conditional release of illegal immigrants, even though a Federal Judge has ruled against it.

Second time

Taylor Greene has already filed a resolution of impeachment against Joe Biden. It was in September of last year due to the sale of oil reserves to other countries.

On that occasion, the representative wrote in the resolution that the Democratic president had undermined the country’s energy security by selling the contents of the Petroleum Energy Reserve to foreign nations.

Other officials under the spotlight

In just three days, Greene filed articles of impeachment against four top officials. Those singled out are Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, FBI Director Christopher Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves.

She accused Mayorkas of allowing the complete invasion of the country by “drugs, terrorists, and illegal aliens.”

Under Mayorkas’s watch, he has allowed approximately 6 million illegal border encounters, a record amount of fentanyl seized at the border, totaling approximately 40,000 pounds, more than 193 people on terrorist watchlists caught while attempting to cross the border at ports of entry, approximately 1.4 million known “gotaways” who have evaded U.S. authorities, approximately 1,424 deaths of illegals at the Southern border (853 dead illegals – the most ever in a 12-month period—died trying to cross the Southern border in 2022), and an approximate 870% increase in border encounters in just one sector of the Northern border.

According to Greene, Attorney General Merrick Garland weaponized the “Injustice” Department, and she claims that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is persecuting “the left’s political enemies.”

She states that FBI Director Christopher Wray "has turned the FBI into Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s personal police force.” The congresswoman accuses him of using Soviet-style tactics that she claims are unprecedented in the United States.

The last impeached, Matthew Graves, “has totally subverted the justice system of the United States” and facilitated the rise of violent crime in Washington, D.C.
