Illegal immigrants arriving on buses to San Diego are being released by Border Patrol agents amid overcrowding at CBP facilities due to the influx of people at the southern border.
A video broadcast by Fox and reviewed by Voz Media shows how hundreds of illegal migrants are released onto the streets from buses. In the footage, a migrant can be heard talking to an officer, who tells him, "You're free to go on and do wherever you want. You’re free."
The immigrant responds to the officer with a question: "It’s no problem if I go to Chicago?"
The officer replies, "You can do whatever you want. You're free."

San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond posted a message on X, formerly Twitter, where he claims that the county has not received help from the federal government to control the immigration crisis. Desmond reported that more than 600 migrants were released in a single day and assured that more than 1,000 are on the streets:

The video from San Diego comes to light shortly after there were reports of the same thing happening in the Tucson, Ariz., sector
This sector was also overcrowded due to the influx of more than 2,000 immigrants per day. Agents have resorted to extreme measures, not only releasing migrants onto the streets, but sending them to areas such as Ajo, where they are locked in fenced enclosures.
