Former FBI agent Timothy Thibault interfered in the investigation of Hunter Biden's business dealings , as published by the New York Post. The Washington Field Office designated Thibault a "point man" role in the investigation. He was the agent in charge of handling the complaints filed by Tony Bobulinski (Hunter Biden's ex-partner) about the business dealings of the president's son.
Bobulinski knew the ins and outs of Hunter's business. He gave the FBI encrypted contents and documents that would demonstrate the Biden family ' s influence peddling in foreign countries with corrupt companies and that, subsequently, the Federal Bureau would have eliminated as well as Hunter's computer.
Joe Biden, the "Big Guy"
On October 23, 2020, days before the election that brought Joe Biden to the presidency, the FBI secretly questioned Bobulinski about Hunter's business dealings and Joe Biden's involvement in them.
A day earlier, it was Bobulinski himself who claimed that Joe Biden was the "Big Guy " listed in several of the emails on Hunter Biden's computer. In one of the e-mails, there was a 10% that Joe Biden was going to get from one of the companies created with the Chinese energy company CEFC.
After the interview, the FBI gave former agent Thibault's cell phone number to Bobulinski and his attorney and told them he would be a contact person with the agency. But when the businessman tried to contact him, the agent would not pick up the phone. He was never again able to contact Thibault or the agency to pursue the investigation.
Resignation of Thibault?
Thibault's name appeared in a letter sent by Republican Senator Chuck Grassley, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland.
The Federal Bureau announced Thibault's resignation the last weekend of August, when the former agent claimed that his departure was due to a personal decision. He made that decision some time ago, as indicated by Thibault. After learning more details of the investigation into the Hunter Biden case, it appears that Thibault's decision to leave the FBI of his own accord may be in question.
