The night will be remembered as the day LeBron James set a new NBA milestone by surpassing the 50,000-point barrier. However, veterans like Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant also made their mark, ensuring the night was memorable beyond the Lakers star’s record.

The Golden State Warriors defeated the New York Knicks 114-102 on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden. Stephen Curry led the charge, scoring five three-pointers to finish with 28 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds. The 36-year-old point guard has scored 106 points in his last three games.

"We're very motivated, we want to be a consistent team," Curry said after the game. "It was really good to be able to come back after a first half that wasn't good to win the game."

Butler's arrival pushes Warriors into sixth place in the West

Golden State shot 40 percent in the first half and rallied from a 10-point deficit. The Warriors have won nine of their last 10 games since Jimmy Butler's arrival and have climbed to sixth place in the Western Conference.

The Knicks were without Dominican Karl-Anthony Towns, who was absent for personal reasons.

Durant, 34 points for LeBron's best active pursuer

Also looking to leave his mark was LeBron’s closest challenger in points scored. Kevin Durant scored 34 points in the Phoenix Suns' victory over the Clippers, bringing his career total to 35,225 points. He played a key role in helping the Suns overcome a 23-point deficit in the second half to secure the win.

For the Clippers, Ivica Zubac's 35 points—his career-high—and the 21 points each from James Harden and Kawhi Leonard stood out.

Pacers beat the Rockets

In another game, the Indiana Pacers defeated the Houston Rockets 115-102, led by Tyrese Halliburton, who scored 28 points and dished out 15 assists. This marked his fifth consecutive game with more than ten assists.

Alongside him, Thomas Bryant and Obi Toppin were key contributors for the Pacers, adding 10 and 13 points off the bench, respectively.

Raptors and Bucks win

A last-second three-pointer by Ja'Kobe Walter gave the Toronto Raptors a 114-113 victory over the Orlando Magic. The 20-year-old, in his first NBA season, finished with 17 points and three rebounds. He scored two three-pointers, including the game-winning shot that secured the win for the Canadian team.

Paolo Banchero had sunk two free throws to give Orlando the lead with five seconds left, until Walter changed the course of the game with his last-second shot at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.

Sixth triple double by Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks secured their third consecutive victory, defeating the Atlanta Hawks 127-121, thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo (26 points) and Damian Lillard (23 points), who scored 49 combined points.

In addition to his 26 points, Antetokounmpo recorded 11 rebounds and 10 assists, securing his sixth triple-double of the season and the 51st of his NBA career.
