The Cleveland Cavaliers are unstoppable this season. They are having the best start in franchise history. The Ohio team extended their winning streak after defeating the Brooklyn Nets 105-100 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

After sweeping the Golden State Warriors in the previous game, the Cavaliers faced a tougher challenge against the Nets.

The Calavliers went to halftime with a two point lead, after a good first quarter and a more sluggish second.

It was in the third quarter that the Nets, led by Spaniard Jordi Fernandez, ramped up the pressure, limiting the Cavaliers to just 13 points and taking the lead.

Facing a seven-point deficit heading into the final quarter, the Cavaliers fought back with intensity, scoring 35 points to dismantle the Nets' strategy. Their 105-100 victory not only kept them undefeated this season but also moved them to the top of the Eastern Conference standings.

"It was a great comeback. We weren't great, but to pull something like that off without playing your best is a sign of a good team," said Cavaliers Head Coach Kenny Atkinson.

Evan Mobley was the standout player of the game, posting a dominant double-double with 23 points and 16 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell scored 22 points, while Darius Garland added 20. However, Jarrett Allen struggled, finishing with just four points and three rebounds.

Despite strong performances from Cameron Johnson (23 points), Dennis Schröder (22 points), and Cam Thomas (22 points), the Nets’ efforts weren’t enough to secure the win

Elsewhere, the Utah Jazz edged out the San Antonio Spurs 111-110, despite a standout performance from Victor Wembanyama. The Chicago Bulls defeated the Atlanta Hawks 125-113, and the Los Angeles Clippers narrowly beat the Toronto Raptors 105-103.
