Massachusetts: ICE arrests 370 illegal immigrants, 205 with felony criminal records
During the six-day enhanced operation, ICE and its federal law enforcement partners targeted high-profile criminal migrants, including transnational criminal organizations operating in and around Boston and throughout the state.

ICE operation in Massachusetts
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and its federal law enforcement partners detained 370 illegal immigrants in Massachusetts during an operation. The operation targeted transnational organized crime, gangs and criminals with irregular status from March 18-23.
The operation, which lasted six days, focused on the Boston and surrounding area, as well as throughout Massachusetts. The organizations targeted included MS-13, Tren de Aragua, Trinitarios and 18th Street.
In that regard, authorities explained that of those arrested, 205 had felony criminal records. Six were foreign fugitives who are currently facing charges or convictions for murder, drug trafficking, organized crime and money laundering.
"Throughout this enhanced operation, we focused on the most dangerous criminal aliens in some of the highest crime-ridden neighborhoods in and around Boston," explained Patricia H. Hyde, acting director of ICE's Detention and Removal Operations Field Office in Boston.
ICE also explained that law enforcement officers seized approximately 44 kilos of methamphetamine, 5 kilos of fentanyl, 1.2 kilos of cocaine, three firearms and ammunition from illegal immigrant offenders during the operation.
