Retail giant Walmart recently removed shirts from its web platform bearing the image of Yahya Sinwar, the recently eliminated leader in the Gaza Strip of the Hamas terrorist group, considered the mastermind of the Oct. 7 massacre.

The shirts, on which the terrorist leader was portrayed as a hero, featured photographs of Sinwar, who was eliminated by Israel during the Gaza war last October, with different captions. One of them read "We will win or die."

‘This is outrageous’

This situation caused backlash on social media, especially following the post made by the organization StopAntisemitism, dedicated to fighting antisemitism.

In a post on X, StopAntisemtism expressed: "Walmart, are you aware you're selling apparel celebrating terrorism and violence against Jews? This is a outrageous—remove them immediately."

While some internet users pointed out that the shirts were not produced by Walmart, but by a third-party seller using the platform, the protests did not abate and demands continued for Walmart to remove these items from sale, which it eventually did.

Other shirts glorifying terrorism remain on Walmart's platform

However, some Internet users pointed out that there are still T-shirts with the image of Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the terrorist organization Hezbollah who was eliminated by Israel late last September, available on Walmart's platform.
