The case against the rapper Sean Diddy Combs, indicted on three federal charges in New York for being at the center of a grotesque sex exploitation and sex trafficking scheme continues to unfold. The rapper and music production mogul pleaded not guilty and has asked for $50 million bail for his freedom, which has been denied by the judge for the second time.

Meanwhile, legal experts say there are several similarities between Combs' case and Jeffrey Epstein, the mogul and sex offender who died in jail under bizarre circumstances while facing a macro abuse trial that also landed his former partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, in jail.

According to the testimony of one of the federal agents involved in the raid of Comb´s Miami home, the house was filled with grotesque devices in some of its rooms. The source, quoted by the New York Post, claims that several rooms in the mansion were "dedicated to sex" exclusively and completely surrounded by cameras.

"So if you were at these sex parties, you were being recorded from every possible angle, including angles you wouldn't have known about," the federal agent said, referring to orgies that sometimes lasted for days at the Combs mansion and in which victims were subdued with drugs. The federal agent claimed that this case is as wicked as Epstein's: "In my opinion, it's as bad as Jeffrey Epstein. These women are young. Either barely legal, or barely illegal."

The federal agent's opinion is similar to that of other legal experts. Defense attorney and former prosecutor David Gelman gave his opinion on the case to Fox. The jurist claims there are many similarities between the two cases.

"This is like Epstein 2.0, if you think about it," David Gelman told Fox. "We have an extremely wealthy and powerful guy, as Jeffrey Epstein was. You have him indicted on inhumane and unheard-of charges against women and possible minors for sex trafficking and sexually deviant acts, and the similarities are uncanny." Gelman does not rule out that, as the case progresses, indications may emerge that Epstein and Diddy had a closer relationship than has thus far appeared.
