Taylor Swift attended a charity event for Gaza on Friday. Several people spotted the popular singer with her friend, actress Selena Gomez in Brooklyn, New York just a few days ago and it was discovered that they both attended the show of comedian Ramy Youseef whose proceeds were donated to the American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA).

The event was also attended by celebrities such as Anya Taylor-Joy, Zöe Kravitz and Cara Delevigne. However, the highlight of the event was that, according to Youseef himself, "100% of the proceeds" would be donated to an NGO that "provides humanitarian relief to the people of Gaza."

This is the first time that Taylor Swift has attended an event that is directly related to the war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization. Until then, the artist had not publicly stated her position on the conflict, although it was reported that one of her bodyguards, an Israeli national, left Taylor Swift's tour to join the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Taylor Swift donates $1 million to Tennessee tornado victims

That's not the only charity work the singer did this weekend. The singer also wrote a check for a million dollars for those affected by the tornado in Tennessee.

The phenomenon, which killed at least six people, took place in Swift's home state and she did not hesitate to step forward and help the victims financially. This was stated by the CEO of the Community Foundation of Central Tennesee (CFMT), Hal Cato, the person responsible for unveiling the impressive donation made by the artist:
