A security guard for Taylor Swift, who claimed to have his "dream job," said hehas joined the Israel Security Forces (IDF) reserve. This was confirmed by the State of Israel on its X (formerly Twitter) account.

"Taylor Swift’s #Eras Tour body guard returned home to fight for his country. Hey @taylorswift13, we promise you’ll never find another like him," said the State of Israel.

"I have a pretty great life in the US, a dream job, great friends and a comfortable home," said the aforementioned guard of the famous singer, according to Israel Hayom. "I didn't have to come here, but I couldn't stand by while families were slaughtered and burned alive in their homes. Don't stand by and do nothing. Don't be on the wrong side of history."

The man also wrote a brief opinion about the ongoing war, accusing Hamas terrorists of being worse than animals.

"It would be an insult to animals around the world to call these terrorists 'animals,'" he said. "They killed and butchered families in their beds along with the family's pets and in the end, also burned down their houses. Try to imagine this happening in your neighborhood or to your family."

The surprise attack by Hamas against Israel, which began on Saturday, October 7, and represented the worst violation of Israeli borders in decades, so far has left some 1,400 Israelis murdered.
