Fani Willis, the Fulton County district attorney who indicted Donald Trump for challenging the results of Georgia’s 2020 election, came under fire after posts surfaced in which she appears to have done the same.

After the former president was officially booked into the Fulton County Jail, the famous YouTuber and conservative political commentator Benny Johnson made a thread of posts through X (formerly known as Twitter) comparing some comments of the prosecutor with those that caused Trump to be indicted.

“As a public official, Fani Willis regularly and consistently questioned Georgia’s election procedures and pushed unfounded election conspiracy theories on her public social media profile. Fani is indicting Trump for the exact same thing,” Johnson said, citing some examples.

The YouTuber shared a post that appears to come from a Facebook account Willis used through 2022, in which the prosecutor complained about the 2020 presidential election and was skeptical about the voting data.

“Georgia could determine who is our next president. A team of lawyers needs to watch them count every single vote… What ballots are they throwing out?” said Willis, openly suggesting there was a problem in the ballot counting process.

Johnson stressed that at the time Willis published those comments, she was a candidate or held elected political office, so he considers that “Fani questioned elections for her own political gain as a hardened Democrat activist” and recalls that “now she is trying to imprison the GOP frontrunner for doing the same.”

The YouTuber also posted some images where Willis is shown as a “hardened, radical activist” and not as an impartial attorney.

“Fani’s pages are littered with BLM propaganda and deep partisan adherence to left-wing ideology. She openly worships Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” Johnson wrote.

The social media content creator also denounced that the prosecutor has used her position “blatantly and quite illegally” for political activities. “Imagine thinking you’ll get ‘Justice’ from a person with a ‘PROUD DEMOCRAT’ mug displayed prominently in their public office,” he wrote.
