Countdown to the winner of the mid-term elections. Americans have already begun voting at their polling places in midterms in which a majority in Congress and the office of governor are at stake in 36 states. After the vote, we will begin to have some, but not all, of the results, as White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. Each state will have a different closing time for its polling places.

At 7:00 p.m. polls close in Georgia and Virginia, we will begin to get the first counts. In Georgia, Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker is challenging Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock for the seat. On the other hand, Brian Kemp is favored to retain his gubernatorial seat over Stacey Abrams. The two already faced each other in 2018.

Pennsylvania and northeastern states such as New Hampshire, Maine or Rhode Island close the polling places at 8:00 p. m. Many states close their centers at 9:00 p.m. Among them Arizona, where Kari Lake (R) and Katie Hobbs (D) aspire to be the next governor. - 10:00 p.m.: Nevada, Idaho, Nevada and Utah.

- 11:00 p.m.: California, Wisconsin and Oregon.
