Grammy Awards: Kendrick Lamar tops the list with nine nominations

Cirkut, Jack Antonoff and Lady Gaga follow with seven nominations, respectively. Bad Bunny is up for six awards.

(AFP) Rapper Kendrick Lamar leads the list of favorites for the Grammy Awards to be handed out in February with nine nominations, followed by Cirkut, Jack Antonoff and Lady Gaga, with seven nominations, respectively, the Recording Academy said Friday.

Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny has six nominations, including best song, best recording of the year and best album of the year for I SHOULD’VE TAKEN MORE PICTURES.

Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas and Serban Ghenea are also in the front row of favorites, with six nominations each.

The big battle for album of the year will be fought by Lamar with GNX, Bad Bunny with DTMF, Lady Gaga with Mayhem, Justin Bieber with Swag, Sabrina Carpenter with Man's Best Friend, Let God Sort Em Out by the duo Clipse (Pusha T & Malice), Leon Thomas with Mutt and Tyler with Chromakopia.

Awards for all 95 categories will be presented at a gala on February 1, 2026 in Los Angeles.
