The New York Comic-Con was the setting chosen to confirm one of the most talked about news stories of the summer. Chris Evans is married. It was he himself who, in statements reported by CNN, confirmed that he was married and that it was "great": "On a more personal note, I got married. And it is, really, really, great." He did it during the panel he attended with the cast of "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The rumors began in September, when it was discovered that the acting couple had married in Boston. The event, held in the strictest privacy, was attended by Chris Evans' colleagues in "The Avengers" like Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner or Chris Hemsworth who kept the secret as long as they could. Days later, it was announced that Evans and Baptista had traveled to Portugal to repeat their vows in front of the family and friends of the Portuguese actress.
