Elon Musk explains how estrangement from his "communist" daughter motivated him to buy Twitter

The South African-born tycoon accused a Los Angeles school of brainwashing his transgender daughter into hating him for being rich.

It is no secret that Elon Musk does not get along with his transgender daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson, 19, who last year went to court to change her name and thus avoid any kind of relationship with the eccentric tycoon who owns Twitter (now X) and Tesla.

Now, what does Musk say about the estrangement of one of his ten children? Beyond accepting responsibility, Twitter's owner directly blames indoctrination in U.S. schools.

As revealed by The Wall Street Journal, in his most recent biography to be published on September 12, Musk accuses an elite school in the city of Los Angeles of having brainwashed his daughter to hate him for being rich.

According to the tycoon, the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, infected his daughter with the "woke mind virus" to reject him.

While this accusation is not necessarily new, since Musk had already suggested in some interviews that "neo-Marxism" in schools had affected the relationship with his daughter, what is surprising is that the estrangement with his daughter, which occurred in the middle of her gender transition, which may have motivated the owner of Tesla to acquire Twitter in order to fight against the "woke culture".

The SpaceX founder told biography author Walter Isaacson that he was initially "generally sanguine" about his daughter's decision until in April 2022 she "became a fervent Marxist and broke off all relations with him."

"She went beyond socialism to being a full communist and thinking that anyone rich is evil," Musk said. He has tried to reach out to Wilson, but so far his efforts have been in vain. "I’ve made many overtures, but she doesn’t want to spend time with me."

The tycoon also claimed that the estrangement from his daughter affected him a lot, even more than the death of his first child, Nevada, who died ten weeks after being born from sudden infant death syndrome.

Musk said in his biography that Twitter was infected in a similar way as his daughter, with intolerance of conservatives, millionaires and critics of the establishment.

So the estrangement with his daughter was fundamental for the tycoon to decide, finally, to disburse $ 44 billion to "defend freedom of expression."
