Donald Trump endorses rival candidates of republican lawmakers who voted to fire Prosecutor Paxton

Liz Case, Mike Olcott, Helen Kerwin and Alan Schoolcraft are the people that the former president decided to support in his electoral battle against the legislators that the former president described as RINOs.

Former President Donald Trump launched a series of endorsements for Republican candidates vying for the seat of lawmakers who voted to impeach Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton last year.

Liz Case, Mike Olcott, Helen Kerwin and Alan Schoolcraft are the people that the former president decided to support in his electoral battle against the legislators that Trump described as RINOs, which means 'Republicans in name only.'

Last year, Paxton faced the first political dispute in more than a century in the Lone Star State to remove an elected public official (the previous one was to the governor James "Pa." Ferguson in 1917) after the Texas House of Representatives voted to impeach him. However, the state Senate voted to acquit him last September.

They stand against 'RINO' candidates

Among the legislators who voted in favor of the process against the prosecutor were a number of Republicans. In that sense, Trump said that Liz Case - who is running in the Republican primary for District 71 of the Texas State House of Representatives - will defend the second amendment, reduce taxes and advocate for border security. He maintained that Case has the approval of Governor Greg Abbott and Prosecutor Paxton.

"Liz is strongly supported by Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, and Attorney General Ken Paxton, and many other wonderful Texas Conservatives. Liz Case has my Complete and Total Endorsement!" Trump wrote in a message posted on his Truth social account.

Similar was the message that Trump published to give his support to Mike Olcott, who is running in the primary for District 60 of the Texas House of Representatives against Glenn Rogers:

Mike Olcott is running in Texas State House District 60 against RINO Glenn Rogers, who voted to Impeach Texas’ Great Attorney General, Ken Paxton. In the State Legislature, Mike will Champion School Choice, Secure the Border, Fight for Election Integrity, Grow the Economy, and Protect and Defend our Second Amendment, which is under siege by the Radical Left.

"One of the most progressive voting records of any Republican"

When speaking about his support for Helen Kerwin, candidate in the primary for District 58 of the Texas State House of Representatives, he maintained that he is facing a legislator he described as one of the most progressive of the Republicans. "Helen Kerwin is running in Texas State House District 58 against RINO DeWayne Burns, who has one of the most liberal voting records of any Republican, including his vote to Impeach Texas’ Great Attorney General, Ken Paxton", Trump said.

She has a wonderful family, and her daughter, Brooke Rollins, served on my senior staff at The White House for three years, and is now doing an incredible job leading the America First Policy Institute. Helen is strongly supported by Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, Attorney General Ken Paxton, and many other incredible Texas Conservatives. Helen Kerwin is an America First Conservative, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement.

Finally, Trump assured that "Alan Schoolcraft is running in Texas State House District 44 against RINO John Kuempel, who voted to Impeach Texas’ Great Attorney General, Ken Paxton."

Alan is supported by Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, and Attorney General Ken Paxton, and many other strong Texas Conservatives. Alan Schoolcraft has my Complete and Total Endorsement!
