Conor McGregor accused of sexually assaulting woman at NBA Finals

On the same day of the alleged assault, the Irish fighter punched the Miami Heat mascot.

On Thursday, Irish mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor was accused of sexually abusing a woman last week during an NBA Finals game.

According to several reports, the UFC star forced a woman to perform oral sex on him in the bathroom of the Kaseya Center in Miami during the game between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets.

The woman, whose identity remains unknown, claims that a security officer who works with McGregor was the one who approached her, informing her that the athlete wanted to meet her and that he was waiting for her in one of the stadium's restrooms. Once inside, the boxer allegedly kissed her against her will and forced her to perform oral sex on him. The victim claims McGregor then pinned her against the wall and attempted to rape her, but she managed to escape.

Another violent incident

The alleged sexual assault occurred at the same game in which McGregor punched "Burni,e" the Heat mascot, which according to some media outlets, ended up causing the person inside the costume to be taken to an emergency room and is now recovering at home from the blows.

McGregor denies the accusation

The boxer's lawyer assured that the accusations against her client are "false." She also stated that McGregor will not be intimidated. It should be noted that this is not the first time the athlete has been accused of sexual assault.

In 2019, McGregor was said to have been under investigation in his home country for the same offense, and according to four people familiar with the case, the boxer was even arrested. However, a spokesman for McGregor assures that these are just rumors.

The UFC star has also been involved in other incidents. In March 2019, McGregor was arrested for stealing the phone of a person who tried to take a photo of him. In 2018 he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
