Jamie Foxx, born in Texas in 1967, was filming his next movie, Back in Action, when he was hospitalized. The comedy, directed by Seth Gordon, will star Foxx himself alongside Cameron Diaz, Glenn Close and Kyle Chandler and marks Diaz's return to the big screen after several years devoted to raising her family.

The medical causes that led to the actor's hospitalization are unknown. It has not yet been announced when the actor will be discharged or when he will be able to resume shooting the feature film. However, Hola reported that the medical complication comes after the actor rejoined the filming of the Netflix movie, after previously having a reported meltdown on set.

Apparently, the causes that led to the meltdown, had to do with the project itself. Foxx was displeased with how the filming of Back in Action was proceeding and had gone so far as to fire the executive producer and three other crew members. The filming of the movie, the tabloid magazine recalls, seems to be cursed. A few weeks ago, filming had to be suspended when an unexploded World War II bomb turned up in London.
