Social communism or conservatism? Follow live the elections that will decide Spain's future

Voz Media and Mega TV are providing extensive coverage of the general elections.

176 is the magic number needed in Spain for a political party to win the majority of seats required to govern. No party, however, seems likely to be able to reach that figure on its own, so they may have to agree on coalitions.

The first polls on election day indicate this likely scenario. They also predict a defeat for Socialist President Pedro Sánchez. The great unknown, for the time being, is whether the right-wing party that leads in the polls, the Popular Party will have to make a pact with Vox, another party with similar ideological tendencies.

Will Spaniards vote social communism out of power? Will any party achieve an absolute majority or will they be forced to negotiate coalitions?
