Lindsey Graham's powerful speech in Tel Aviv: “How does this end? Israel prospers, Hamas is destroyed"

The Senate sent a bipartisan delegation to show American support for Benjamin Netanyahu's government in its war against the terrorist group.

The Senate sent a bipartisan delegation of 10 senators to Israel, more precisely to Tel Aviv, to demonstrate American support for the government and the Israeli government in the midst of its war against Hamas. The five Republicans and five Democrats gave their respective encouraging speeches, but one in particular, that of Lindsey Graham (R-SC), attracted many comments on social media.

The South Carolina Republican traveled with the group that also included Cory Booker (R-Nj), Susan Collins (R-MA), Ben Cardin (D-MY) and Katie Britt (R-AL), among others, and was the first of them to stand on the podium and pledge his support for the Jewish State.

What does Hamas mean in English? ISIS

"10% of the United States Senate is in Israel. 10% of the United States Senate is in Israel because we care. Five Republicans and five Democrats. I have a message to our friends in Israel we stand with you without apology. Unequivocal. I come here because I love Israel. I do not hate Palestinians, I hate Hamas. I know the difference. The goal going forward is to take from this horror and try to make this a better world," the senator began.

"I saw things today that I didn't think were possible in 2023. I've seen grown men who've been fighting Wars all of their lives, be stunned by what they saw the level barbaric Behavior here is beyond my ability to explain it. What does Hamas mean in english? ISIS," he added.

"Hamas is the modern version of the Nazis"

Immediately afterward, although the senator claimed to have seen "a lot of things" during his trips around the world, some with his "friend" John McCain, he declared that "I have never seen anything like this in my life."

"How does this end? Israel thrives, they survive, Hamas is destroyed and the Palestinian people have a better life. That's how this has to end. So, we're here today to give Israel what they need to do the job of destroying the modern-day version of Nazis, Hamas," he continued.

"For Iran to fail, Israel must destroy Hamas"

At the same time, he took the opportunity to send a message to Tehran and make clear what could happen if the situation in Israel worsens at the hands of Hezbollah. "We're here today to tell Iran we're watching you. If this war grows, it's coming to your backyard. There won't be two fronts, there'll be three. If there's an effort to unleash Hezbollah on the Jewish state to destroy it, my attention will be to Teheran. If these innocent hostages get slaughtered, I hold you Iran accountable cuz you could stop it if you chose to. The idea that this happened without Iranian involvement is laughable. 93% of the budget over decades, the training the equipment all coming from the ayatolla," said the former presidential candidate.

"I come here to let Israel know that the US will be with you. I come here to let the Arab world know that we make peace if we can. Destroying Hamas is non-negotiable. My goal is for them to fail. For Iran to fail, Israel must destroy Hamas. For Iran to fail, Palestinians must have a better life," concluded Graham, to general applause.
