Kate Middleton is discharged from hospital after 12 days following abdominal surgery

The Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery in mid-January. After a few days recovering at the London Clinic, the Duchess has returned to Windsor.

Kate Middleton is back on the grounds of Windsor recovering. After 12 days in hospital, the Princess of Wales was discharged from the hospital on Monday and was able to return home from where she will continue her post-operative treatment.

The Duchess was admitted to the London Clinic in mid-January to undergo abdominal surgery. The procedure, by which Kate Middleton will have to be absent from her duties at least until after Easter, turned out to be a "success," according to the British Royal House a few days later.

However, the lack of official information caused a flood of theories on social networks that claimed that the Princess of Wales had been induced into a coma, was very serious, and even talked about death.

Everything turned out to be false and the Duchess was progressing adequately, receiving a visit from her husband, Prince William, as well as her father-in-law, King Charles III, who visited her a few days before undergoing a surgical procedure himself to treat his prostate enlargement.
