Karine Jean-Pierre and Suzanne Malveaux have ended their relationship. The White House press secretary, who has an adopted daughter with the former CNN journalist, announced the couple's separation in a statement picked up by Vogue magazine, in which she assured that her priority is the child:
I am a single mom who co-parenting this amazing kid. Our number one priority is her privacy and to make sure we create an environment that's nurturing.
Jean-Pierre has been very discreet with her personal life. Previously, the couple was living with their daughter in Washington, D.C.
