'Bring Them Home': Jewish mothers unite to demand the release of 30 children being held hostage by Hamas
Protesters in Spain sent a message asking society not to forget the victims kidnapped by the terrorist group.
A group of Jewish mothers in Spain raised their voices to demand the immediate release of 30 innocent children who are being held in Gaza against their will by the terrorist group Hamas.
This is an unprecedented citizen initiative that also demands the release of the more than 190 remaining hostages, including women, the elderly and entire families, a total of 222.
"This initiative arises in response to the massacre perpetrated by Hamas on October 7 in Israel, a cruel and merciless act that has shocked the international community," explains the Action and Communication on the Middle East (ACOM) organization.
In the demonstration, which took place in Plaza de Colón in Madrid, each kidnapped child was symbolically represented by a toy and a white balloon, "symbols of peace, harmony and childhood innocence." Likewise, the mothers asked Spanish society not to forget those who have been massacred by the terrorist group Hamas.
'May the hostage children not be forgotten'
"Under the motto 'Bring Them Home,' these brave and supportive mothers call on the Spanish people so that all the hostages do not fall into oblivion in a world where news passes quickly and memory is ephemeral," ACOM noted.
Several mothers expressed that they are united in the face of these barbaric acts: "Nothing is more cruel or more inhuman than attacking minors. And that has united us all. We want this cause to be authentic and to reach the heart of each person. ... Those kidnapped deserve to be freed and we want their stories to be remembered."
