A freed Hamas hostage tells the story of her captivity in Gaza
Yocheved Lifschitz, 85, told the media how the terrorist group held her and forced her into a "spider's web" of tunnels.
An elderly woman in a wheelchair, Yocheved Lifschitz, told the story of her captivity in Gaza. Lifschitz, 85, is one of the people Hamas freed Monday. She explained to the media how the terrorist group held her and forced her into a "spider's web" of tunnels located in Gaza on Oct. 7, the same day Hamas attacked Israel and began the war.
She explained how the terrorists held her and took her on a motorcycle to the Gaza tunnels, as reported by Israel News: "They took me, with my legs on one side and my head on the other," she said. In addition, she explained, they beat her with sticks.
Before reaching her destination, they took all her jewelry and her watch and made her cross fields until they reached the network of tunnels. There, they made all the hostages enter.. After staying there between two and three hours, she and four other captives were separated from the rest of the hostages and taken to another place.

That, she explained, was positive since "the treatment towards us was good." As she explained in statements reported by Fox News, she and her group were held by guards who "told them that they are people who believe in the Koran and that they would not harm us." In fact, they were fed once a day and provided with medicine and hygienic materials.
The story, however, is not over yet, not until all the hostages, including her husband, are free. This was explained by her daughter, Sharone Lifschitz, who accompanied Yocheved and assured that her mother "has a lot of hope that everyone who was with her will return."
The terrorist group also committed many other atrocities that Israel shared with the media last Monday. A number of "horrible" images and videos demonstrated how Hamas acted during the raid that took place on Saturday, Oct. 7.
