"Influencer" Clavicular Faces Charges of Sexual Assault Against a Minor in Massachusetts

Content creator Braden Peters, 20, known online under the pseudonym "Clavicular," was charged in Orleans District Court in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a minor, as reported by NBC News after reviewing the criminal complaint filed on September 8.

The incident allegedly occurred in May 2025 at the young man's family home on Cape Cod. The complainant, Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, an 18-year-old content creator known online as Alorah Ziva, told Chatham police authorities that Peters requested a private ride-sharing service to take her to his home, where he allegedly encouraged her to drink alcohol during a live stream on the Twitch platform before carrying out the assault.

Criminal Charges and Civil History

The police report states that the young woman agreed to participate in the livestream under social pressure and that Peters instructed her to claim that the alcoholic beverage was water so as not to violate the channel's terms of service.

Mendoza stated that after falling asleep in the defendant's room, she woke up the next morning while he was sexually assaulting her, in a state of shock.

The criminal proceedings follow a civil lawsuit previously filed by Mendoza in Miami. In that previous legal action, the young woman also claimed that during a subsequent encounter in Florida, while another live broadcast was taking place, Peters injected a substance into her face that was not approved by health authorities for fat dissolution, causing perforations and skin damage.

The defendant's stance and the risks of digital subcultures

In response to the allegations, Peters denied the charges in posts on the social media platform X, claiming that the young woman is trying to profit off his fame and citing previous messages in which she expressed gratitude to him for promoting her on social media.

"It happens to all successful young people—people try to come after your money. Greed is bad," asserted the content creator. His legal representative also dismissed the initial reports published by The Bulwark, noting that the influencer had not yet been physically served with an arrest warrant.

Peters rose to prominence within the "looksmaxxing" movement, a digital trend popular among young men dedicated to radically altering their physical appearance through extreme routines, strict diets, and risky procedures such as traumatic modification of the facial bone structure.

The content creator's background includes a prior conviction resulting in probation in Florida for shooting at wildlife on a public road, as well as a recent history of hospitalizations related to substance use.
