'Liberty has been a great blessing in my life': Maximiliano Kazemi explains on Voz News why this university is one of the best options for Hispanics

For Hispanics seeking to build a successful professional future in the United States, choosing the right university is a critical decision. Beyond academic preparation, factors such as the campus environment, values, financial opportunities, and personal development can make all the difference during a pivotal stage of life.

This is how Maximiliano Kazemi, a Liberty University graduate, explained it in an interview with Voz News anchor and executive director Karina Yapor, in which he shared his experience as a student at the institution. Kazemi studied International Business and minored in Biblical Studies, an educational path that, as he recounted, transformed both his professional outlook and his personal life.

"Liberty was a great blessing in my life. It greatly changed my perspective and who I am," Kazemi said, who recalled that he first learned about the university while touring various institutions with his family, and that his first visit to Liberty made a particular impression on him. "We got out of the car and heard worship music as we were walking," he recounted.

The campus facilities and atmosphere ultimately convinced Kazemi and his family. "We all discussed it, prayed about it, and God showed us that this was the place," he explained. Kazemi also noted that he had the opportunity to share the experience with his three sisters, with whom he graduated.

He also highlighted the financial support available to students. According to Kazemi, Liberty offers various scholarships and financial aid options, even to students who have already begun their studies. "Even before you enroll [...] they help you find what's right for you so you can attend," he noted.

For Kazemi, another of Liberty's greatest contributions was character development. "Here, the community you're part of is truly one where people use their words to lift others up, where generosity is something you see all the time," he said.

The graduate also highlighted a lesson he said he carried beyond the classroom: seek success not only for his own benefit, but to help others. "They teach you, yes, to be successful—but not just successful so that things go well for you—rather, so that through your success you can be a blessing to the people around you," he said.

When asked what he would say to young people aspiring to achieve their goals, Kazemi summed up his advice in one sentence: "Put everything in God's hands." He explained that his formative years let him see the impact a life guided by faith and integrity can have.
