Elon Musk, the new CEO of Twitter, announced a new option for users: a feature that will display how many times each tweet is read.

The "view count" is similar to the already known "impressions" generated by tweets or Facebook posts.

The tweet received a response from user @Spooks who claimed that, although he participates repeatedly, "no one" reads his tweets: "I reply a lot... no one reads my tweets," he replied to the Twitter CEO.

The conversation continued when the tycoon asked the user if he had looked at his tweet analysis, which can be viewed by clicking on the three dots at the top right, and added that the social network will now have the option to display the view count for all tweets.

Those who read tweets outnumber those who reply/retweet/like tweets by more than 1000%.

Since Musk bought the social network, he has insisted that Twitter must become a transparent platform that allows freedom of expression and information. Has promoted various new policies and features to detect bots and verify users.
